Although this applies to all of BSA Scouting (and with reluctance to make too many duplicate posts), I'll post it here under the Boy Scouting forum.

The BSA webmaster has added an excellent and comprehensive Youth Protection resource webpage at:

http://www.scouting.org/YouthProtection.aspx

Summary: "The Boy Scouts of America places the greatest importance on creating the most secure environment possible for our youth members. To maintain such an environment, the BSA developed numerous procedural and leadership selection policies and provides parents and leaders... online, video, and print resources for the Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing programs."

The Youth Protection page does a very nice job of bringing together all of the resources into one spot. This eliminates the need to search around to find a resource that you noticed, but for the life of you can't seem to find when you really need it!

I do like the way BSA is rearranging it's Web site. It has a catchy look & things are easier to find. They are also adding interesting new things. I like the CubCast & I am looking forward to when MyScouting goes online. The MyScouting area has great potential, we shall see what BSA does with it.
