Dear ScoutParents forum members,
Over the weekend, there was an inappropriate post in the ScoutParents Leaders forum. We apologize to all our members for not immediately flagging and removing it. Our system is set up so that new registrants have to be approved by the moderator before they are allowed to post. This enables us to reject spammers and maintain the sanctity of our message board. However, in this instance, someone registered with a real name and an email account from a trusted domain (lycos.com). Thus, they were approved and allowed to post.
We'd also like to give a special thanks to those members who alerted us of this problem. Your vigilance is much appreciated, and we hope you will notify us if this ever happens again.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
ScoutParents Webmaster
