Snoopy, the Beagle Scout

How many of you remember a comic strip that features a dog called Snoopy that imagines himself as a Beagle Scout? I have those original strips in a scrapbook.

I remember seeing the comic strips ... I had forgotten about them, being that I was a GSA dropout. I didn't pay to much attention to Scouting again until my son became a Webelo. That's a really neat book you put together, its nice to look back and see what you were thinking about and doing at the age you worked on it. Scrapbooks are fun!

Actually I was recently given a new pair of shorts with Snoopy and the Beagle scouts on them. So apparently you aren't dating yourself that much Stevejb68.

By the way, after writing that blog about Snoopy, I have writen two more articles about other times Scouting has appeared in the comics or cartoon characters have appeared as a Scout (during my life time). Add Garfield, Calvin, Mikey, Casper, and Superman to the list.
