Your right, this seems to be a good informative site. Down here in West Houston Texas, we're doing good. We just recently started a new district because one of them grew so large.
Hearing about Stoughton almost makes me homesick! I grew up in Dedham & still have family where you live.
How's your Tigers doing there at home? My son's a Bear.

Hi guys! I'm new also to this site. My son is in his 3rd year of Boy Scouts. We're down along the mighty Ohio River west of Louisville, Ky. Buffalo Trace is our council name. I love helping out our Boy Scouts, you know doing the volunteer thing. I never knew about Scouting when I was growing up, so I'm living it now with my son. Its great!

I'm from the Gulf Coast Council down here in L.A. (Lower Alabama). Our district covers NW Florida and SW Alabama.

I've been in Scouting for 6 years now...2 with cubbies and now 4 with Boy Scouts. My oldest daughter has been in Venturing for 3 years. I have two more children coming up, the youngest being 8...so I'll be doing this for a while yet.

I hope that more people catch on to the forum idea. This is such a great idea for sharing ideas and experiences.:)
