the merit badge award cards are now available in 8 card sheets. where can I get a word processing template to fill these out so that I don't have to fill them out by hand?

Do they only work with Troopmaster?

Troopmaster actually sells these cards just for the program... it works great!!

The cards that are available at the Scout Shops are not compatible with Troop master.

Troopmaster sells blanks and prints everything to include graphics. The sheets that are at the Scout shop when put in with Troopmaster get printed over. Different patterns all together.

I have not seen a template for the Scout Shop cards.

Happy Scouting!

You might do better asking this on the Leaders Scouting Forum rather than here on the Parents forum.

This forum is for parents-mentors who are new to Scouting, not currently involved, and/or not a Scouting volunteer.

Dan, I take it that means that YOU are new to Scouting, not currently involved, and/or not a Scouting volunteer?

Nope, a long-time Scouter hoping to read posts from parents to see what their thoughts and concerns are. However, with all the posts from leaders on this parents forum, it is hard to find out if parents are actually using it. I'm concerned that if parents come here and see a bunch of posts from leaders talking about Scouting esoterica like merit badge cards, they'll think they are in the wrong place and won't be comfortable posting.

This is a place for parents to ask questions. Who should be answering their questions if you do want "experienced" Scouters to do so?

Exactly my point. This is place for _parents_ to ask questions, not a place for leaders to ask questions. By all means experienced Scouters should be responding to parents' questions.

My point is simply this: Leaders should ask questions on the Leaders Forum. Leave this forum for questions by parents who are new to Scouting/not leaders. All threads in this Parents Scouting Forum should be initiated by parents, not by leaders.
