Hello Everyone,
Can someone please give me a name or web site where I can buy the arrow of light and the plague? I want to find a vendor that is trustworthy and with good craftmanship.
Our Pack has 3 Webelos II Patrols that are crossing over in December.
Thank you very much for the help!

Last year we used regular arrows from one of our parents who is a hunter. Sray painted the gold and had their names and date of the award written on them they looked great and were inexspensive.

Every pack has a different version of the Arrow of Light award so if you see one you like, talk to the people who have them and ask where they came from. My sons' pack tradition was to have the den leader purchase wooden arrows at a sporting goods store and paint bands of different colors reflecting the youth's Cub Scouting career. For my youngest, this was presented with a framed copy of the Arrow of Light certificate that had two cup hooks screwed into the bottom to support the arrow. I'm now a Unit Commissioner for 4 packs and each one has a different way of presenting this award. One has the boys make arrows from real sticks and the den leader provides arrow heads to be bound to the sticks. One has a carpenter that makes plaques to hold the arrows with the Arrow of Light symbol routed out. There is no standard way to do this.

I think this may be what you are looking far.
I googled this: http://www.arrow-of-light-awards.com/
here is another: http://members.aol.com/vincesarrows/Arrow_Plaques.htm
and another: http://www.cubitems.com/
and more: http://members.aol.com/Cubitems/
but this may be exactly what you are looking for: http://www.acornawards.com/
Now I have to say that I have never used this site or its services, we make our own. All the resources you need can be found at a sporting goods store and a craft store.
Happy Scouting!
