I have signed on as the Greater Pittsburgh Council ScoutParents coordinator. I found the material to do an excellent job in presenting the scouting program to parents. The Scouting Orinetation Guide is a simple way of explaining the program to new parents and others who do not any idea of how the program works. When I showed the Scouting Video at the District meeting the response was "That is a great video -how can I get one?"

The Pro Scouting Brochure cover page says it it all. "SCOUTING BUILDS MORETHAN JUST CAMPFIRES.

The "Lets Go Scouting" brochure is an excellent item to give to Cub Scout age boys at a recruiting event.

My only recommendation in using this material is that before you give any of it to the public that you attach a label to the material which has a contact phone number and e-mail address. After several days the people may not remember you but they will have contact information.
