2007 Centennial Quality Unit Award

Well its November 1st and units can qualify for the 2007 Quality Unit Award. How did the first year go in your unit? How is your District going about checking the units for the award? What help or guidance have you received from your Council? Are all the unit leaders aware of the award?
How did you like the new format vs the old one?
We liked the new fromat in that we could make goals based on our own units. It looks like both the Troop and Pack will get it.

We set reasonable goals and it looks like we met them all.

This new format is great and a really smart step. You set some goals and you have a year to reach them. On the road to reaching them you enhance the Scouting program.

From what I have been seeing the units don’t seem to have grasped the concept or relevance of it yet despite the Commissioner Service’s pushing it. Hopefully it will change.
