Are new uniforms coming?

I have heard new BSA (and as a follow-on, Cub Scout) uniforms are coming this summer. Does anyone have any info on this? I can't find anything on any official scout sites, and don't want to invest in a Webelos uniform for my son if they are changing in a month. Thanks.

Here's a link to the official BSA new uniform site. Everything that is known about the new uniform can be found here. If you heard something that can't be confirmed at this site, it's only speculation or rumor.

There is some discussion about the new uniform under the misc section if you want to read some. Should be in the scout shops around the first on August. The Boy Scouts are changing which will be the Webelos also.

Currently, the blue Cub Scouts are not changing. Only the tan/green uniform.

However - once an official uniform, always an official uniform.

It will not matter if it is the "old" or "new" tan/green uniform, your Webelos will be fine in either.
